Carlos Carrasco celebrated passing his U.S. citizenship test with a red, white and blue suit
Indians right-hander Carlos Carrasco was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. The 29-year-old has been a part of the Indians' big league staff since 2009, really coming into his own along the way for the first-place club.
Up until last week, though, he had not yet become a U.S. citizen. That changed when he passed his test, which he announced on Twitter:
I'm so happy to say that, with help from family and teammates, I passed my citizenship test!!! pic.twitter.com/q1dvEouhCE- Carlos Carrasco (@Cookie_Carrasco) August 4, 2016
Well, after the Indians finished up their series in D.C. with a 7-4 loss to the Nats on Wednesday afternoon, Carrasco showed the world just how excited he really is about passing his test ... by wearing this:

Congratulations, Carlos! We hope you've started a new fashion trend in the process.
