Inside the Actor's Dugout: Ryan Howard reflects on his TV roles
Any dedicated fans of The Office or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia might have caught a certain Phillies first basemen making a cameo in the past few years. Ryan Howard, portrayed who else but himself, on the hit comedies recently. "It was cool, it was different. Something outside of your element" the first baseman said about his time acting. How would the big piece rate his acting skills? "All the good actors don't usually rate themselves, they don't usually even watch themselves" he said with a smile. "I thought I did alright". It doesn't seem like he's ready to leave to the field to appear regularly on your prime time line up, though he said he'd "love to do that stuff again".
