It's time to name MLB's first week All-Stars

Welcome to In Short Order, a weekly look at all the baseball that I like and can't stop obsessing over. We'll mostly live at the edges of the game; at the intersection of the weird, the fun and the esoteric. Oh yeah, and hair.
Because the season is as young and fresh as a newborn babe, no hopes have been dashed. World Series dreams are alive for every team -- even if they're in last place for the moment. The season's so new, you haven't even had a chance for chores or work or weddings to distract you from staying up late every night to watch baseball. 
So, let's go ahead and name the All-Star team from the first week:
