Jason Kipnis won Tribe Fest because a fan named this adorable puppy in his honor

Tribe Fest -- the annual pre-season festival for Indians fans -- isn't a competition. There's no scoreboard or field of play defined by boundaries and there's little objective beyond, "get pumped about the upcoming Indians season."
Still, though, Jason Kipnis managed to emerge victorious.
A young Indians fan named Karley attended Tribe Fest (where Carlos Santana reportedly opened a door for her because he's courteous like that). On her way home, Karley adopted an adorable little puppy and wanted to name it after Kipnis, but needed the two-time All-Star to retweet her first.
Kipnis quickly obliged and now he's got an adorable new namesake.
