Jerry Seinfeld and Yoenis Cespedes are still on for that Cuban sandwich

When Yoenis Cespedes came to the Mets at last year's non-waiver Trade Deadline, all of Mets fandom rejoiced -- none moreso than Jerry Seinfeld, who invited the newest resident of Queens out to lunch to celebrate:

Sadly, some things got in the way. Between a parakeet, a wild run to the World Series and Cespedes' free agency, the two never did get to meet up. But now, Yo is back at Citi Field, and Seinfeld is once again crafting Twitter odes in his honor:

As for Cespedes? He's just hoping to finally get a sandwich out of the deal:
