Joe Maddon's scoreboard image on Disco Night was 'pretty close to my look back in the day'
Saturday night was Disco Night at Tropicana Field and the Rays have "Saturday Night Fever" -- especially manager Joe Maddon.
The Rays skipper, who freely admits to wearing bell-bottom pants in the '70s, channeled his inner Tony Manero while filming a scoreboard video that the RaysVision crew played when the defense took the field before the game. Maddon showed off a solid strut as he re-created the opening credit sequence from Saturday Night Fever.
Showing no shame whatsoever, "Joe Cool" also proudly tweeted his scoreboard photo:
Check out the scoreboard image for tonight. It's Disco Night. That's pretty close to my look back in the day pic.twitter.com/DeTb1b7gGp

As you can see from the above photo, he's right. Stay groovy, Joe.
