Kevin Kiermaier added to his resume with a full-extension leaping catch
Kevin Kiermaier is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner for good reason. He makes catches that inspire the Rays to commission artistic renderings of its majesty and has a sneakily-effective cannon of a throwing arm, among other attributes.
In Sunday's Spring Training game with the Blue Jays, Kiermaier showed just how ready he is for the regular season with this vintage display that robbed Jake Elmore of extra bases. Oh, and Kiermaier made it look absurdly easy, too:
That takes maximum effort and full extension to even come close to spearing a liner like that -- but it's no big deal for Kiermaier, who's definitely in midseason form already.
