Kevin Pillar runs up the wall to rob a home run
One might think that an outfield wall that towers multiple feet over Blue Jays left fielder Kevin Pillar's head would be an impediment to making a catch. Heck, one might think that gravity itself would be an impediment. One would be wrong:
In the seventh inning of the Blue Jays-Rays game on Wednesday evening, Tim Beckham sent a pitch from Todd Redmond sailing to what appeared to be the area just beyond Roger Centre's left-field fence.
So Pillar ran up the wall and said "No -- this will not be a home run."
Yep: Pillar. Ran. Up. The. Wall.
