Kris Bryant did Kris Bryant things and no one was more impressed than comedian Jeff Garlin

Kris Bryant did Kris Bryant things to beat Padres

Kris Bryant started the 2015 season at Triple-A, ostensibly because he needed to work on his glove at the hot corner. Well, he's playing home games on the North Side, now and that glove is coming along nicely, though he didn't need it to show off his skills on Thursday.

Comedian Jeff Garlin was on hand to witness the greatness first-hand as Bryant did what he does best, belting his fifth home run of the season out into the seats at Petco Park:

"I finally got to see a Kris Bryant homer," Garlin remarked. "And, truly, you hear the sound of it ... it is different. The second he hit it you go, 'Wha? Huh? What? I've never heard that before.'"

We know, Jeff. We know.

And to follow up that performance, Bryant flashed some bare hand in the top of the fourth as he charged a slow roller and fired to first to catch Derek Norris in time for the out:

Yeah, we'd say his glove is Major League ready. Jeff Garlin is drinking the Kool-Aid and we're having what he's having.
