LeBron's free agency is such a big deal that the Indians and Marlins are fighting over him

Hey, did you know that LeBron James opted out of the final year of his contract with the NBA's Miami Heat and is currently a free agent? Of course you did, because you've been visiting the Facebook page for Caroline's Cupcakes for updates and rapidly refreshing your Twitter feed to track the Cavaliers owner's private jet

But, I bet you didn't know that his availability is so important that it's got two Major League Baseball franchises vying for his attention on Twitter.

As King James considers his options with the Heat, Cavs, Rockets, Suns, Timberwolves (WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO KEVIN LOVE?!), Knicks (WILL MELO SIGN?!) and Bulls (LeBron, Melo or neither?), the Indians are pleading with him to return to Cleveland while the Marlins are hoping he stays in South Beach. And, of course, both teams would love him to weigh in on the All-Star Game's Final Vote and tweet in favor of their respective candidate.

Regardless of where James ends up, I think it's safe to say that we're all hoping he pulls a Jordan just so we can experience the inevitable circus that will come to town when he tries to hit a curveball in Double-A.
