Let's get ready for ...

Any time Ryan Vogelsong faces off against Chris Carpenter in Game 2 of the NLCS, you just need to customize a Giants jersey to commemorate the occasion, right? Right?

Well, not exactly.

Ray Price from Half Moon Bay, Calif., actually bought this orange alternate top after attending Game 2 of the 2010 World Series. Matt Cain tossed 7 2/3 shutout innings and Edgar Renteria went deep in that one as the Giants defeated the Rangers, 9-0.

Price received tickets to the game as a birthday gift from a friend and called the experience "pretty much my favorite baseball memory." He purchased the jersey shortly after and wore it to most of the 35 games he attended this season at AT&T Park. Of course, it's a little out of place for most of those contests. But not today.
