Matt Kemp reunites with ailing Dodgers fan Joshua Jones in Los Angeles
You might remember Joshua Jones as the young Dodgers fan to whom Matt Kemp gave his hat, jersey and shoes after a recent game at AT&T Park. But that wasn't enough for Kemp -- the center fielder flew Joshua and his family from San Francisco to Los Angeles to watch Monday's bout with the Angels as his guests.
Joshua, who is a cancer patient, also had the chance to meet Clayton Kershaw, Mike Trout, Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten and third base coach Tim Wallach, who helped connect the teen with Kemp earlier this month.
"This is a dream come true for my son here," said Jones' father Steve. "I mean, look at him -- he doesn't even know what to say."
