Melky Cabrera and a White Sox fan teamed up to reel in a foul ball with a true group effort

A White Sox fan sitting in the left-field corner of U.S. Cellular Field had a spot -- well, actually, quite a bit -- of trouble collecting a foul ball during the fifth inning on Saturday. But by teaming up with his fellow fans and none other than Melky Cabrera, a foul ball was, in the end, procured. This is the harrowing tale:
First, when Mike Moustakas popped a pitch foul, the fan tried to catch it, tumbled over the railing -- nearly doing a handstand on the field -- and had to be helped up by his seatmates ...

... all while watching the ball roll out of reach.
But White Sox left fielder Cabrera saw this Herculean effort and decided to lend a hand -- he was right there, after all. Except that didn't work out so well at first, either:

All that matters, though, is that the ball was eventually secured in the fan's possession. All it took was a true group effort, as they later explained:

Hey, no fan is a foul-ball-catching island.
