Mike Moustakas loosens up the cannon -- with a football
Mike Moustakas' career as a quarterback ended before it started -- cut short after breaking his ankle during a high school football game.
Even so, the Royals third baseman, whose father played football at UCLA, can't put down the pigskin. The 24-year-old throws a football before every game with third-base coach Eddie Rodriguez, and although the two sports require completely different throwing motions, tossing a football helps him get loose for the game.
