Mo'ne Davis will attend Hampton University and play softball

In the 2014 Little League World Series, Mo'ne Davis captured the attention of everyone after she became the first girl to ever pitch a complete-game shutout in the tournament. The then-13-year-old had a 70-mph fastball and led her Philadelphia-based squad to a surprise showing in the US Championships.
But Davis wasn't done with baseball after the LLWS. In 2017, she played for the Phillies' team in the RBI World Series in Cincinnati:

Well, time flies and now Mo'ne is thinking about where she's going to go to college. Actually, it turns out she's already thought about it ... and she's going to attend Hampton University in Virginia next fall.
When she wasn't making hitters look silly on the baseball field, Davis was a three-sport athlete at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, playing soccer, basketball and softball. She plans on playing softball for Hampton, which surely means college hitters have a tough four years ahead of them.
