Miguel Montero fled the on-deck circle when Yadier Molina came barreling down for a foul ball

Yadi chases Montero from on-deck circle to catch foul

Fee-fi-fo-fum, when Yadier Molina is trying to catch a foul ball, you'd better keep your head on a swivel.

Yadi started behind the plate for the Cardinals in Game 3 of the NLDS on Monday. Considering the fact that two of Molina's teammates and six (!!!) Cubs homered in the game, it's safe to say that Addison Russell's second-inning popup into foul territory was one of the few pitches that didn't meet the barrel of the bat as it crossed the plate.

Molina ranged over toward the Cubbies dugout to make the play, changing directions as the ball swirled in the airspace behind home plate. As it plummeted back to Earth, Molina encroached upon the area surrounding the home team's on-deck circle, and Cubs catcher Miguel Montero was forced to evacuate ... quickly:

With those kind of evasive maneuvers, we're guessing that Montero has a future in professional freeze tag, if, you know, this whole playing professional baseball into October thing doesn't pan out for him.

While the Cards would end up losing, 8-6, despite Molina's best attempts, they'll have their chance for revenge as the Cubs look to close out the series in Game 4 on Tuesday. Tune in to TBS at 4:30 p.m. ET for all the action.
