New Jersey Governor Chris Christie attended a Mets game and caught a foul ball
One thing we know about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is that he likes to take in a good live sporting event every once in a while. He's been spotted at numerous Dallas Cowboys games, has a potential future in sports talk radio and even showed up Tuesday night as the Mets took on the Cardinals.
As Christie's reward for showing up to cheer for his team, Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong sent a foul ball his way. Christie was happy to get the gift and accepted congratulations from his immediate neighbors.
Though he certainly enjoyed the catch, Christie passed the ball on to a young fan -- and possible constituent -- sitting near him.
