Not even Yasiel Puig playing third base could prevent Ender Inciarte's walk-off hit

The D-backs had runners on first and third with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning of Friday's game against the Dodgers. Left fielder Ender Inciarte was up to bat. All he had to do was send a ball past the Dodgers' five -- yes, five -- infielders.

Yasiel Puig was deployed to third base for the at-bat, not because Don Mattingly thought his centerfielder might like a change of scenery, but in hopes of keeping Cliff Pennington from heading home.

It didn't work.

Inciarte rocketed a single into right field, avoiding Puig and giving the D-backs a 4-3 victory.
