O no: Hostess closing means top prospect Gausman can't eat his pregame donuts anymore
When the Orioles signed pitcher Kevin Gausman to a $4.23 million deal out of LSU in June, they didn't take his Donettes addiction into account.
The fact that Gausman ate the Hostess-created treat before every start and in between every inning was probably funny to the O's organization. A cute little tradition that the Tigers alum had followed since seventh grade.

On Friday, Hostess announced plans to close down its operations and Gausman may never taste his precious Donettes ever again. His career precious routine will be jeopardized. The O's might be paying a little more attention to their pitcher's superstition now. Gausman definitely is:
