Sean Doolittle begins offseason by losing his mind on Splash Mountain

While some of his MLB colleagues are adjusting their internal clocks to Japanese time, A's closer Sean Doolittle is spending his offseason chasing a different kind of thrill -- one of the life-flashing-before-your-eyes variety.

We may not take Doolittle serious in an amusement park (though who among us hasn't lost their mind at the top of Splash Mountain?) but we will take his 2.73 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings in 2014 serious, and we hope opposing batters will, too.
