Pablo Sandoval is now a champion on two continents, and this announcer is really excited about it
During the spring, summer and fall, Pablo Sandoval is holding down third base, cracking home runs and winning MVPs in championship series for the Giants. In the winter, he's doing much the same thing for the Navegantes del Magallanes of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.
Sandoval didn't quite match his feat of three home runs in one game during the Navegantes championship series against the Cardenales de Lara, but he did hit three in the series and took home MVP honors. The one he belted in Game 6 of the seven-game set came along with fireworks, a Darius Miles/Quentin Richardson "antennas up" gesture on the basepath, an Aaron Rodgers "championship belt" motion at home plate and one brilliantly enthusiastic announcer:
