Phillies fan who had home run ball stolen goes back to Citizens Bank Park, meets Maikel Franco

Phils fan who had home run stolen meets Maikel Franco

Phillies fan Joyce Kiner had a rough start to the 2015 season. First, she and her husband went to their first game of the year and an over-eager Phils fan nudged Kiner out of the way and stole Maikel Franco's first career home run:

Then, Kiner appeared on a local Philadelphia television show and was clunked in the face by a producer trying to get her to re-enact the home run:

But things are looking up for Kiner. The Phillies inviter her and her husband out to Citizens Bank Park on Saturday to watch the Phils host the Rockies. Before the game, Kiner got to hang out on the field and meet the rookie third baseman who nearly hit her a souvenir the first time around.

"I got to meet Maikel Franco and get a signed ball, which was awesome," Kiner said during the game. "So it's just been an awesome day."

Also, it was "Bark at the Park Day," so Kiner and Co. were surrounded by a bunch of adorable pups all afternoon. We'd imagine there are worse ways to spend a Saturday.

The only downer for Kiner on this day: Her Phillies fell to the Rockies, 5-2.
