Marcus Stroman rocked American flag cleats for his WBC '17 start

MIAMI, FL - MARCH 11: Marcus Stroman #6 of Team USA pitches in the first inning during Game 4 Pool C of the 2017 World Baseball Classic against Team Dominican Republic on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida. Marcus Stroman spends half his time pitching north of the border with the Blue Jays, but when he toed the rubber on Saturday afternoon against the power-hitter-heavy Dominican Republic lineup, he made sure to rep the USA from his head to his toes.
Literally.
Just check out the American flag cleats that the right-hander was rocking on the mound. It's enough to make Betsy Ross jealous.

The cleats did their job. Stroman pitched 4 2/3 shutout innings and struck out four before hitting his pitch limit after giving up a single to Starling Marte.
Of course, Stroman wasn't the only one whose shoe game was on point. Dominican Republic reliever Fernando Rodney made sure his shoes were covered with his lucky plantain
