Gerrit Cole cheered like crazy at the Penguins' playoff game, is a good Pittsburgh sports fan
The Pittsburgh Penguins took on the Washington Capitals in Game 4 of a big playoff showdown series on Wednesday night, and one of the Pirates' own was on-hand in full regalia.
Pitcher Gerrit Cole was spotted by the cameras and given some time on the Jumbotron, and he made it count with some seriously emphatic cheering and a robust "LET'S GO PENS" chant:
What? You thought #BurghProud was just a Twitter thing?

According to MLB.com's Adam Berry, Cole was enjoying the game alongside his fiancée, Amy; teammate Ryan Vogelsong; and Vogelsong's wife, Nicole.
Cole's rooting (and the cheers of everybody else at the arena) turned to joy as the Pens took the game, 3-2, in overtime to open up a 3-1 lead in the series.
As Cole found out, however, sometimes our fandom can get the best of us ...
We're just over here tryin' to support our squad. #BurghProud #LetsGoPens https://t.co/exE01huSuv
