Players across the Majors wore Stoneman Douglas hats for the first games of Spring Training

When big leaguers took the field on Friday afternoon for the first Spring Training games of 2018, they did so with a special tweak to their uniforms: Every team sported the hats of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in honor of the 17 people who lost their lives in a shooting at the school on Feb. 14.
Josh Donaldson donned it proudly:

As did the Rays' Daniel Robertson:

While Justin Bour and the Marlins wore #MSDStrong shirts during their warmup:

And invited the SDHS baseball and softball teams to participate:

The hat came with a #DouglasStrong message on the back:

Some members of the Red Sox added #ParklandStrong to theirs, as you can see on Hanley Ramirez:
