Proud moments: A's fans win Josh Reddick's hair during Coliseum auction
What can $40 buy you these days? Josh Reddick's shorn locks and a two-run homer from Seth Smith.
The A's held an auction to promote autism awareness during Sunday's game against the Orioles and two fans from Section 149 ended up with the locks Reddick cut off last week.
Drew and Tony initially put a bid down for a separate item, but must have written the wrong number down. At the end of the auction, they were notified that they had won the hair.
And as soon as the duo got back to the bleachers, Seth Smith hit a home run.
"It's the rally hair," Drew said.
