Question of the day: Should Leyland have pinch-run for Cabrera?

The pivotal moment in the American League Championship Series might have occurred in the eighth inning of Game 4 Wednesday night at Comerica Park. Texas and Detroit were tied at 3-3, and Miguel Cabrera represented the potential go-ahead run after being intentionally walked.

With one out, Victor Martinez moved Cabrera over to third with a single through the right side off Mike Adams. Delmon Young lofted a fly ball to right. Nelson Cruz caught it at medium depth and one-hopped a strike to catcher Mike Napoli, who had plenty of time to hold his ground and tag out the hard-charging Cabrera.

If the run scores, the series might be tied at two games apiece. Texas ultimately won and now the Tigers must win three in a row to avoid elimination.

Today's question: Should Tigers manager Jim Leyland have pinch-run for Cabrera?
