Son of MLB pitcher scores NFL touchdown and does baseball-themed end zone celebration
Cory Harkey is a tight end for the St. Louis Rams. His father Mike pitched in part of eight seasons for the Cubs, Rockies, Athletics, Angels and Dodgers (he was also the Yankees' bullpen coach from 2008-13 before joining the D-backs' staff as pitching coach this offseason).
So when the younger Harkey scored his second NFL touchdown on Sunday against the Saints, he celebrated by throwing the ball out of the end zone, from the windup, in the pitching motion that I'm just guessing he might have learned from his dad. You can watch the whole thing on NFL.com.
