Rays pitcher Jake Faria threw a perfect bounce pass across home plate, but unfortunately that's not a strike

Jake Faria has been a big league pitcher for two seasons. He knows how to pitch. He knows you must throw the ball in the air over the plate. 
Yet, in the fourth inning of Wednesday's Rays-Royals game, he tried to sneak a fast one by us, the batter and the home-plate umpire -- throwing a perfect bounce pass to Wilson Ramos. Unfortunately, everybody noticed:

OK, so maybe he just slipped off the mound and it was all a big mistake. Either way, Vlad Guerrero might hit that ball over the fence.
