Red Sox honor wounded soldiers

Cpl. Brewington is a member of the United States military, who was injured while serving. He is currently going through therapy and rehab at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Brewington is just one of the heroes who visited with the Red Sox prior to Monday's game. Manager Bobby Valentine, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Daniel Bard and other team members introduced themselves to the soldiers, signed autographs, posed for pictures and spent some time catching up with their courageous fans.

Wounded Warriors honors and empowers injured soldiers as they return from combat. Offering a variety of programs and services, WWP is equipped to serve warriors with every type of injury – from the physical to the invisible wounds of war.
