Red Sox fan takes foul ball to the face, boosts case for bringing glove to the game
The debate on whether adult fans should bring gloves to a baseball game has been raging for a while. But if bringing one helps you avoid what happened to fan Doug Crossley during ALDS Game 2 between the Rays and Red Sox, it can't be a bad thing:
Luckly, he was uninjured and even recovered the souvenir.
Crossley was glad a ballgirl found the memento for him. What's next? "I'm going to try to get it signed by Stephen Drew, because he's the one that hit me in the mouth with it," Crossley joked.
