Rounding up the rodent reactions

Here's what some of the men on the field had to say about the @BuschSquirrel's fifth-inning appearance last night:

Skip Schumaker: "I saw something in my peripheral go across. When I stepped out of the box, I saw it go under the stadium. It was strange. Of all the things that could have happened, that at-bat, that happened. So I'm glad I came out of the game. because I don't know what else ..."

Roy Oswalt: "I got distracted. I didn't really how that would be a pitch. If it ran up the guy's leg, would he have called the pitch for strike? It's hard to say.I was wondering what size animal it needed to be to not have a pitch."

Lance Berkman: "I've never seen that either. You notice that Roy [Oswalt] wasn't the least bit bothered by it. Where he's from, that's just par for the course."
On how difficult it is to shoot a squirrel:
"It depends on what you're shooting. If you're shooting a 22, it's pretty tough. if you're shooting a 4-10 with No. 4 shot it's not that difficult."

Charlie Manuel: "Being from the South and being a squirrel hunter, if I had a gun there I might have done something. I'm a pretty good shot."
