Salvador Perez took time after the Royals' World Series rally to celebrate a young fan's birthday

Perez celebrated a young fan's b-day at the WS rally

In the midst of his own 800,000-guest celebration, Salvador Perez threw a mini-birthday party for one young Royals fan. As reported by Kansas City's local FOX station, 7-year-old Jordyn attended the Royals' World Series parade with her family for her birthday, holding the above sign.

Then, just after the rally, the World Series MVP granted her birthday wish:

"He just walked over there and lifted me over the barricades," said Jordyn. "I was feeling nervous."

"Everybody was chanting and hollering and pointing straight at her," [Jordyn's father] Jake said.

"They were pointing at me going, 'Salvy! Salvy!'" added Jordyn.

And why is Perez her favorite player? Because of his videos with Lorenzo Cain.

First time on this new year I see my boy Cain
