In a crossover baseball movie moment, Henry Rowengartner posed with kids from 'The Sandlot'

The '90s were a golden era for baseball movies, with a number of classics hitting theaters, like "A League of Their Own" and "Angels in the Outfield." Two more famous films from that time were "The Sandlot" and "Rookie of the Year," and as fate would have it, some of the stars from those two movies happened to convene on Saturday afternoon:

Back in 1993, Thomas Ian Nicholas starred as Henry Rowengartner, the eponymous "Rookie of the Year." In the picture above, he was joined by Chauncey Leopardi, Marty York, Victor DiMattia and Shane Obedzinski, who played Squints, Yeah-Yeah and Timmy and Tommy Timmons in "The Sandlot" that very same year. (Obedzinski, Leopardi, York and DiMattia lined up left to right.)
Clearly, Kevin Costner missed the memo about the Baseball Cinematic Universe convention.
