Sarah Hughes, Christie Rampone headline Daughers Day at Yankee Stadium
A number of standout female athletes brought their daughters to the Bronx on Monday for Daughters Day at Yankee Stadium. U.S. Women's National Team captain Christie Rampone, 2002 figure skating Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hughes and former New York Liberty star Kym Hampton were among those in attendance.
During pregame ceremonies, the Yankees Foundation made a contribution to support the Women's Sports Foundation's efforts to provide positive recreational outlets for girls in New York City. Hampton then sang the national anthem, and Rampone and Hughes tossed out ceremonial first pitches.
