Scooter Gennett hurts himself reaching for body wash in the shower, could be headed to DL

Weird injuries were abound during Spring Training this year (we even listed the sneeze-induced oblique strain and a few other incidents back in March). Yes, they were bizarre. But on Sunday night, Scooter Gennett may have topped them all:
"I just found the right angle and sliced it open," Gennett told MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. "I knew [it was bad] because it started bleeding everywhere. I didn't feel any type of pain. I don't know if that's me and my tolerance, but it wasn't painful. I knew I was going to need stitches and I ended up getting five."
Manager Ron Roenicke noted that a trip to the 15-day DL may also be a possibility.
Welp, lesson learned, Scooter. Do not shower. Ever.
