Snow day! Mets and Rockies warm up in Coors winter wonderland
It's not often that Major Leaguers get a snow day, but that's what happened Monday at Coors Field.
The Mets took the field, unsure anything was amiss.
Some people decided to warm up anyway.
But others were more interested in texting pictures.
LaTroy Hawkins did his best Marco Scutaro/Spock.
Once the fun was over and the game was postponed, it was time for stadium staff to work.
Everyone helped out.
Was down on the field earlier. Watched Rockies staff literally report to work, grab a shovel, and head for the infield to start moving snow.

The teams are scheduled for a doubleheader today -- once the field is clear.
