Terry Francona and Carlos Santana's pregame ritual involved lots of kissing

Generally, pregame handshakes or rituals seem to be among players. Managers, unfortunately, seem to be left out in the cold -- pretending not to care, but actually probably sad nobody will come rub heads with them.
Carlos Santana is trying to change that. He wants his skipper involved in his pregame routines.
So before Monday's Indians-Royals game, he walked over to manager Terry Francona and gave him a nice little smooch on his forehead.

Francona would return the kiss on the first baseman's bat -- something he's been doing all season and summed up to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian as "Whatever works, man."
Sadly, it didn't work out so well on Monday as KC beat the Indians, 7-3.
