The 1913 Milwaukee Brewers featured a live goat in their team photo

On Sunday, the Brewers and Cardinals played a throwback game, with both teams wearing uniforms representing their squads of exactly 100 years ago.
To get in the retro mood, the Brewers put up a team photo of the 1913 squad (which were actually members of the Minor League American Association) in their clubhouse. As MLB.com Brewers beat writer Adam McCalvy noted, that team featured one rather unusual member.
That's right: In the pre-Bernie Brewer days, the Brew Crew's mascot was apparently a live goat. I doubt today's team threw back to this particular feature, but they definitely should next time.
