The B.O.A.R.D.: It's Verlander Day

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
This is Justin Verlander's moment. Verlander has been one of the best pitchers in baseball for the better part of the last decade, but he has yet to capture a World Series ring. With his Astros one game from history, Verlander finds himself with a golden opportunity to change that.
Was all the hype and anticipation enough to move the Astros righty up the B.O.A.R.D.? Or is Verlander still behind fellow teammates Alex Bregman and José Altuve?
Check out the video at the top of the post to find the answer to this and all your other pressing life questions.
