The B.O.A.R.D.: Let's review -- whose postseason is it so far?

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. Whether it's the Rally Monkey in 2002, Daniel Murphy in 2015 or David Ross last year, October is always dominated by a particular force. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness, so we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Rankings Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
Much to our chagrin, and to the chagrin of baseball fans everywhere, there was no World Series game last night. But, one upside of the off-day was that it gave us some much needed time to think deeper about the B.O.A.R.D.
After a cup of tea and some heated debate, we agreed that our B.O.A.R.D on Thursday was too reactionary. Yes, Game 2 should go down in history as an all-time great game, but our B.O.A.R.D. rankings the morning after were a bit too focused on the insanity of Game 2.
That is why we had to step back, take a Greg Bird's-eye view on things and reconsider who this postseason truly belongs to.
