The B.O.A.R.D.: Monday at the Winter Meetings was all about Giancarlo

We spent October ranking the defining things of the postseason, and now we're doing the same thing with the offseason! With so many Hot Stove moves going on around the Winter Meetings, we'll review all the happenings and let you know who or what this offseason belongs to.

While the Winter Meetings are best known for being a hub of transactional madness, Monday did not see many dramatic roster moves. Aside from a few Minor League signings, waiver claims and the reported return of Pat Neshek to Philadelphia, the biggest story of Monday was the introduction of Giancarlo Stanton as the newest member of the Yankees.

When the reports started to come out about the potential Stanton-to-the-Yankees deal, images of a Giancarlo-Aaron Judge power tandem started to crystallize in the minds of baseball fans anywhere. Now having seen Stanton officially don the pinstripes for the first time, those images are slowly becoming reality.

Was the Stanton introduction enough to dethrone the unstoppable hype train known as The Shohei Ohtani Express from the top of the B.O.A.R.D.? Check out the video at the top of the page to find out.
