The B.O.A.R.D.: When will we reach Maximum Muncy?

Each October, the MLB postseason belongs to someone or something. With so much good baseball packed into one month, it's sometimes tough to follow all the madness. So, we created the Baseball October Arbitrary Ranking Device (The B.O.A.R.D.) to keep track of it all.
Thursday brought us two more games of stellar postseason baseball, with the Brewers walking off the Rockies in 10 innings and the Dodgers delivering a dominant performance, defeating the Braves, 6-0. Mike Moustakas delivered the walk-off single for the Brew Crew, but the star of the show for seemingly the 48th day in a row was NL MVP favorite Christian Yelich. He kicked things off with a big two-run homer in the 3rd inning and scored the game-winning run on Moose's single.

Ever since he was acquired from Miami, it seemed likely that Yelich would be one of the stars of this upstart Milwaukee team. However, the same could not be said for the star of Game 1 for the Dodgers, Max Muncy.
The Dodgers signed Muncy to a Minor League contract in April 2017 after he was released by Oakland before the season. He had a solid season in Triple-A in 2017, earning another Minor League contract heading into this season.

And now here he is in the NLDS, batting third for the team that was in the World Series a year ago without him, going 1-for-1 with a huge home run and three walks. You can't predict baseball. You just can't.
Muncy undoubtedly deserved a spot on the B.O.A.R.D. after his Game 1 performance. With a four-game Friday on deck and the ALDS about to get started, the B.O.A.R.D. is about to get really messy. So who earned a spot on today's rankings? Check out the video at the top of the page to find out.
