The elusive Yasiel Puig steals second base despite a well-timed throw
Yasiel Puig steals base with elusive maneuver
In the bottom of the first inning of Tuesday's Dodgers-White Sox Spring Training matchup, Yasiel Puig attempted to steal second base. The throw from Geovany Soto was in plenty of time.
Puig made it safe anyway.
When White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez turned to make the tag, Puig was right there. But then, Puig simply pulled in his arm, scooted around Ramirez and touched the bag, swiping his first stolen base this spring.

Later in the game, Puig made an across-the-field throw to third to nab Conor Gillaspie trying to go from first to third.
Puig gonna Puig.
