The Phillie Phanatic finally got a date with Alanna Rizzo, and it couldn't have gone worse
It's been a tough week for the Phillie Phanatic. Not only was he caught on the Citizens Bank Park field in his birthday suit, but he has also been spurned repeatedly by Dodgers TV reporter Alanna Rizzo.

After days of attempts at wooing Rizzo during his team's series against the Dodgers, the Phillie Phanatic finally won her favor as she agreed to go on a lunch date with the mascot prior to Thursday afternoon's game.
Now, we all know that, between the awkward silences and general nervousness, first dates are awkward events. But even by the standards of first dates, the Phanatic's didn't go well.
Regardless of those early snafus, it appeared that both parties at least got a nice cold glass of milk out of the outing.
With the Dodgers and Phillies going their separate ways following Thursday's game -- to say nothing of the spilling event that started the date -- it appears unlikely the Phanatic will have a second date with Rizzo.
As they say, there are other fish in the sea.
