The Question: Will the Blue Jays, Nationals, Dodgers or Angels make the postseason?
Four preseason favorites have scuffled to find traction so far in the first half of the season: the Blue Jays, Nationals, Dodgers and Angels. There's still plenty of season left, but some of the playoff races are starting to crystallize.
So we want to know: which of these teams has the best chance to make the postseason? The Jays have the best record of the bunch, and they've been hot lately, but they play in baseball's toughest division. The Dodgers and Angels have weaker records but presumably easier roads if they can get hot, and despite their struggles, the Nationals remain in second place. Which of these teams could still be playing when the calendar turns to October?
