The three best Tim Lincecum reactions from Saturday night's no-no
By now you've probably heard about Tim Lincecum's first career no-hitter, leading the Giants to a 9-0 win over the Padres in San Diego on Saturday night. The game marks only the second no-hitter of the season, following Homer Bailey's no-no against San Francisco earlier this month.
But it wasn't all glamorous. When a pitch struck the umpire on a bounce in the seventh, Lincy winced.
It takes a village to throw a no-hitter. In the eighth, Lincy celebrated this amazing catch by Hunter Pence.
When Gregor Blanco snagged Yonder Alonso's fly ball for the last out of the game, Lincecum looked like he hadn't fully realized what happened. Fortunately, a bear hug from Buster Posey snapped him back to reality.
