There was a question about sabermetrics on 'Jeopardy!' and no one got it

Come on, universe. When I was on "Jeopardy!" you thought it would be cool to give me the category "17-Letter Words," but the contestants on Friday night's episode got this $1,600 question. See if you can answer it:

Did you say "What is sabermetrics?" SO DID I. Too bad this knowledge has not helped any of us win $1,600. (Fun fact: I did win this baseball-themed headline after my own appearance on the show in February.)
