These Red Sox jackets could not possibly be more patriotic

Win the World Series, get a trip to the White House to meet the President. That's how it works, and the Red Sox are not going to let the opportunity slip by without making clear just how much they love the Land of the Free:

The star-spangled blazers were apparently Jonny Gomes' idea, and if you think he didn't include one for President Obama in his order, think again:

UPDATE: While Gomes and the Sox do plan to give one of the blazers to President Obama, the Boston Globe's Peter Abraham reports that the team does not in fact intend for the stars-and-stripes jackets to be their White House visit uniform.
