Todd Frazier called back to a Rays fan's thumbs down with one of his own after an RBI single

On Monday night, Yankees third baseman Todd Frazierhit a three-run homer deep into the night at Citi Field, where they were playing the Rays in a game relocated due to Hurricane Irma. Upon seeing the blast, a Rays fan (at least one must assume he's a Rays fan) expressed his displeasure at the dinger in amazing, deadpanned fashion:

That's the context you need to fully appreciate what happened in New York's 3-2 win over the Rays on Wednesday. In the second inning, Frazier picked up an RBI single and mimicked the fan's thumbs-down gesture once he reached first base:

An inspired effort, for sure. Thumbs up to Frazier's thumbs down!
